Can I tell you how much I adore my neighbourhood?   I love it, love it, love it!  It's the bright spot of Brussels.  I live in a district of Brussels called St-Gilles, in the southern part of the city.  The neighbourhood is filled with people from all over the world, like: Portuguese, Latinos, Arabs, Africans, Indians, Pakistanis, Polish, Russian, and of course, Canadians!  You can buy fresh produce right outside of my flat every Monday at the market and there are a plethora of Lebanese/Middle Eastern restaurants to chose from in case you're hungry (can anyone say, durum or falafel?).  If you would like more info on my colourful neighbourhood visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint-Gilles%2C_Belgium.  Until next time!
